# Bitscale MCP Capabilities

> Every tool the Bitscale MCP exposes, what access it needs, and what you can build with it.

### Overview

This page is the reference for what's on the other side of the connection: every tool the Bitscale MCP exposes, what each one needs to run, and what you can build once it's connected. If you haven't set it up yet, start with [Connecting the Bitscale MCP](/mcp-reference/connect).

### **Endpoints**

The Bitscale MCP exposes 49 tools. **R** marks a read-only call, **W** marks one that changes state.

**Workspace**

* `get_workspace_v1` (R) — plan, credit balance, seat count, your role, folders, workbooks
* `list_integrations_v1` (R) — connected integrations and their IDs
* `describe_integration_schema_v1` (R) — an integration's field and object schema
* `create_folder_v1` / `move_to_folder_v1` (W) — organize folders
* `create_workbook_v1` / `move_grid_to_workbook_v1` (W) — group grids into a workbook
* `delete_item_v1` (W) — delete a folder or workbook and everything in it

**Grids**

* `create_grid_v1` (W) — create an empty grid
* `list_grids_v1` (R) — list or search grids
* `get_grid_v1` (R) — a grid's columns, sources, settings, and schedules
* `update_grid_v1` (W) — name, description, visibility, auto-dedupe, auto-run
* `clone_grid_v1` (W) — duplicate a grid
* `delete_grid_v1` (W) — delete a grid
* `get_grid_status_v1` (R) — ingestion and run progress

**Sources**

* `list_source_types_v1` / `search_source_types_v1` (R) — available source types
* `get_source_type_details_v1` (R) — a source type's metadata schema
* `add_grid_source_v1` (W) — attach a source (Apollo, LinkedIn, Google Maps, CRM, CSV, webhook) and load rows
* `update_source_v1` (W) — edit a source
* `delete_source_v1` (W) — remove a source and its rows
* `pull_latest_source_data_v1` (W) — pull fresh data from a source

* `analyze_csv_upload_v1` (R) — preview an uploaded CSV
* `get_csv_import_mapping_v1` (R) — suggested column mapping onto a grid
* `create_grid_from_csv_v1` (W) — create a grid from CSV, or append to one

**Rows**

* `get_rows_v1` (R) — read row data
* `list_row_ids_v1` (R) — preview which rows a filter matches
* `add_rows_v1` (W) — append rows (max 1,000 per call)

### **Access**

Each connection is scoped to one Bitscale workspace. Every tool above runs against that workspace, its grids, its credits, and its connected integrations only.

Your workspace role, owner, admin, editor, viewer, gates admin actions like invites and plan changes. `get_workspace_v1` returns your role.

Integrations, HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Zoho CRM, Slack, Apollo, OpenAI, Instantly, Smartlead, Outplay, are only reachable once your workspace connects them. A tool that needs one you haven't connected returns a connect link instead of proceeding.

Deletes preview first. `delete_grid_v1`, `delete_column_v1`, `delete_source_v1`, `delete_rows_v1`, `delete_item_v1`, and `dedupe_rows_v1` show what would be affected before anything is removed.

Runs estimate first. `run_column_v1` and `run_grid_v1` show a credit estimate before spending anything.

### **Capabilities**

**List building** — Pull rows from Apollo, LinkedIn, Google Maps, company lookalikes, a connected CRM, a CSV, or a webhook. Filters like industry, technology, location, seniority, and school resolve to an exact ID before the search runs.

**Enrichment** — Email and phone finding and verification, LLM research, raw HTTP calls, and web or link scraping, wired onto a grid as columns with a schema-checked shape.

**CRM sync** — Read and write to HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, and Zoho CRM, including your own custom fields. Slack messaging and outbound sequencer sync, Instantly, Smartlead, Outplay, work the same way.

**Automation** — Cron schedules re-run a column or re-pull a source on a cadence. Grids can auto-dedupe and auto-run new rows as they arrive.

**Organization** — Folders and workbooks group related grids. Clone a grid instead of rebuilding it.
